ANALYSIS OF TEACHERS READINESS IN IMPLEMENTING “KURIKULUM MERDEKA” IN PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN MENANGA DISTRICT: A CASE STUDY

Abstract


This study aims toanalyze teacher readiness in implementing Kurikulum Merdeka, analyze the latest policies regarding Kurikulum Merdeka: This research approach is a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the principal, homeroom teachers of classes I and IV. The results showed that: (1) the principal's policy on school examinations (US) where the technical and implementation are handed over to the Education unit, but still follow the rules and regulations of the local government. (2) the abolition of the National Examination  replaced with a Computer-Based National Assessment (3) simplification of the LESSONS PLAN called the teaching module in Kurikulum Merdeka, which has no appropriate teaching module and becomes a modeling for schools implementing Kurikulum Merdeka. (4) Admission of New Students of Public Elementary Schools in Menanga District for the 2022/2023 school year using zoning and has 4 supporting villages.
